| Thanks to the Via do Infante motorway which runs all the way from Vila Real de Santo Antonio on the Spanish border, almost as far as Lagos in the west, all of Algarve’s urban centres, towns and villages are easy of access. |
| Included in this section are Vale do Lobo, Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago. These are well known and well defined areas, rather than actual towns, that have developed around prestigious golf & beach resorts. |
